Advise on promoting my work? (nail technician)?

im a nail technician and ive just moved to gran canaria and would like to make some money theres not many nail technicians around and the ones that are are really expencive i need to work from home as i just had a baby, But dont no where to start as ive always worked for a company and never had that problem...,Advise on promoting my work? (nail technician)?
since gran canaria is a tourist place leave bisness card at hotels the people ter are lookin 2 be pampered an wil want to ave ter nail lokin good. an a few local shops can u put up posters an leave cards in there shops. say ur first manicure is free r half price r somthing an asks local barmaids an waitress do tey want ter nails done for half price (but make sure ur not 2 pushy) wen ty *** 2 u an like ur survice ur bisness wil spred through word of mouth.

I'd put fliers around shopping centres and anywhere there are community notice boards. If you are a member of daycare, I'd hand them around other mothers. Print business cards and hand them out to anyone who might be interested. Consider your target audience and how you might reach them. The best advertising is references from people who have used the product or service so make sure you treat your clients right.

You need a logo, and some business cards to put the logo on. I'd also advise making some flyers and putting them up all over, gyms, stores, anywhere there is a bulletin board.

put an ad in the newspaper, small enough to be affordable but eye catching and interesting. make flyers to put at places like tanning beds, hair salons, things of that sort.
Do a COUPLE hands for free. And Give your close friends free or discounted work. The by word of mouth you'll get business.
